(or The Line For The Shower)
Speck: Mom, when is it my turn? Huh? C'mon! The girls are taking too long!
Cripes! Enough with the camera! Is there no decency???
(muffled) OK, who dropped the soap??? Where is it?
Speck: I'm outta here. Guy can't get a simple bath...

Yes, and how come your flowers are up more than mine? And me being a mere 10 miles SOUTH of you? Nice crocuses!

If you think chickens are bad, you should see what a couple of dogs and an eight-year-old boy can do!
Tell me about it! But I love my chickens too much to complain.
is that a d'Uccle? You have some pretty chickens enhanced by the flower beds. :-)
Speck is an Old English Game-Red Pyle bantam roo. A few years ago at the county fair, I kid just abandoned his roo because he was going off to college and could not find anyone to take him as he had not dubbed his comb or wattles...I was smitten. I'm sure Old Enlgish enthusiasts like the stripped look, but with all his parts, this little guy strikes quite a pose. So anyway...that "abandoned" roo needed a mate. So the following spring, I rolled the dice and ordered one (bantams are straight run chicks). Speck was not the gal we were hoping for, but I am just as smitten. The original roo, Gomer, has since passed.
I love those chickens.
Hey I tried to email you but got a failure notice. Can you send me your new email addy, if you have one?
