This winter is all the usual stuff. Snow, ice, cold, snow, wind, ice, snow and so on. We in Upstate New York are used to this:
and this:

We try to do a lot of this:

And we even try to find the beauty where we can:
But...
... I'm tired of shoveling, I've run out of farm porn (seed catalogs), I'm not even marginally entertained by the neighbor's anatomically correct snowmen, and it's not even halfway through January!
Cicero is begging me to take him on vacation to ANYWHERE...

and I'm actually considering it...so long as he shares the driving.

I'll host you and Cicero ANY time! :-)
Oh...don't tempt me. I want to lay down in your snowdrops and just hug the dirt. I want to do all your barn chores simply because they don't involve snow. And I want to fling my thermal underwear into the ocean. (sigh)
What fun! Help with chores, rolling in the mud, flinging undies in the ocean . . . and all with me and a camera to document it for the blog (hee)!
*hugs* :-)
I LOVE it when you two 'talk' online! Yes, Melanie, this is your neighbor with the grassy a**. If you have a hankering to do fiber things - I have 10 fleeces that need skirting. Hmmm? What's that? You're leaving for the coast?
Call me, baby...just call.
Before you get carried away with the undie flinging, just remember...spring really is coming around the corner. It's already MID January!
I am so with you..........
Linda
